According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, baptism is the first of our seven sacraments. Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life.
Through Baptism we are freed from sin, and reborn as children of God.
We welcome all who seek Baptism in the Catholic church.
Families must be registered Parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes or St. Joseph's Church.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church calls the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation necessary for the completion of Baptismal grace.
The reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation is preceded by a period of preparation, and signs of matruity in the Faith.

Do you know an adult who has never been baptized? Do you know an adult who has missed sacraments along the way?
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is a fascinating religion course for adults. We meet once per week. Each week we study a truth of our faith, using lecture, discussion, and practical examples. The classes begin in September and run until the Spring. At the Easter Vigil Mass our students will receive their sacraments, and our parish community will rejoice with them. If you, or someone you know, would like to take part in this wonderful experience, please call the rectory today.
